Privacy Policy

FibDefense is committed to collecting as little data as possible. FibDefense requires no account and does not ask for your name, email, precise location, contacts, or payment details. Optional anonymous gameplay analytics can be disabled at any time in Settings.
1. Information We Collect
We collect no personal information. FibDefense does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other identifying information at any point.
The limited anonymous product events described in Section 4 are transmitted to our first-party service. Advertising and store providers may process data as described below.
2. In-App Purchases
The optional premium unlock is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. FibDefense never receives or stores your card number or billing address.
Store transactions are governed by the applicable Apple or Google privacy policy.
3. Local Device Storage
FibDefense saves progress—including high scores, puzzle stars, purchases, saved runs, and settings—locally on your device.
Your detailed board state and local scores are not included in anonymous analytics. Deleting the app generally removes its local data, subject to the platform's backup behavior.
4. Analytics
FibDefense sends a small set of anonymous, first-party gameplay events to understand onboarding, mode selection, completed runs, puzzle results, upgrade interest, and ad timing. Events include app version and broad gameplay fields such as theme, mode, level, stars, or wave.
Analytics uses a random session identifier that resets whenever the app launches. We do not send an advertising ID, account ID, name, email, precise location, or your board layout. Events are processed by our Cloudflare Function and are not written to a player profile or account database.
You can turn this off at any time under Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous gameplay analytics. The game works the same when analytics is off.
5. Advertising
The free version of FibDefense displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Purchasing the premium unlock permanently removes all ads.
FibDefense requests non-personalized ads. Google may still process device and app information, IP address, and advertising interactions to deliver, secure, and measure ads under its own policies. FibDefense does not use AdMob's advertising identifier for its first-party analytics.
Ad data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Premium users are not shown ads and are not subject to AdMob data collection.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
FibDefense is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
Anonymous product analytics is not used to profile players or serve personalized content. Parents or guardians can disable analytics in Settings and can purchase the full game to disable ads.
7. Third-Party Services
FibDefense integrates the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store — app distribution and in-app purchase processing. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob — ad serving for free users only. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Premium users are not subject to AdMob data collection.
- Cloudflare — hosting and processing for the website and anonymous first-party gameplay events. Governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
No third-party analytics SDK is included in the app.
8. Changes to This Policy
FibDefense reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be communicated through App Store release notes and reflected with a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
